I started a Flickr Group for Little Italy San Diego.  It’s already well populated with images from travelling professional photographers and like-minded people who live in the neighborhood.  Please add your photos that capture the architecture and spirit of Little Italy that we love.  Grazie!

My Grandfather and his 1961 Omega

My Grandfather and his 1961 Omega

for Stephanie Ashmore – inspirations – my Grandfather, Stanley Bucher, and me at Easter early 1970s.

And his 1961 Omega.

I love you Bompomp.  (I couldn’t say pop pop as a little girl)

Musings

August 20, 2009

(from a friend)

I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.

The only time I look forward to a red light is when I’m trying to finish a text.

I think part of a best friend’s job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.

Food Shark!

Even though I live nowhere near Marfa, TX, I’m a huge nerdy Food Shark fan.

They cook up great food (from what I’ve heard), make great use of social media (confirmed), and rock great indie style (the 1963 Plymouth Belvedere, the truck, c’mon!).

If you haven’t seen the video/commercial, it’s worth checking out for the cars alone.  “It’s a Truck!”

and their photostream on Flickr.
